Missi Perkins

I have been married to my husband Stacy Perkins for over 30 years. We have four wonderful children and two precious grandchildren! I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, fishing, camping and traveling. My degree is in education from the University of Texas at Tyler and I am a certified teacher for Early Childhood through 6th grade. I have taught for the last nine years at Central Elementary in both Kindergarten (2 years) and second grade (7 years). In 2016, I was awarded teacher of the Year for the district. I have a passion for teaching young minds, making learning fun, and motivating them to reach their full potential. Most importantly, I desire to see each of my students love Jesus and walk with him daily for the rest of their lives.

“If you have a child’s heart, you have a child’s mind!”            (Original quote by Edward Mooney, Jr.)
